Belur understood. As a fighter he rarely would ever fight along side someone. Even some one was skilled as Laura. She could win on her own but Belur thought it would be interesting watch. Belur has memories of the old demons fighting the vampires from before and Belur could tell that this demon was pure blood of rich line. If he was a demon from a line that far back Belur wanted his head and his black heart.
Belur wondered if he could torment he demon with his mind gift. Although the mind was complected Belur could have some fun before the demon knew what was going on and shielded his thoughts. Belur of course would have more fun then was needed. Belur then laughed out loud almost evilly when the demon threatened him. Belur could not believe that he was still thingyy he had to know one way or another he would die.
"Leave protect the children and the teachers I'll stay hear and watch the fire dim." All the vampires followed his orders but one of the Guards was hesitated. Belur. Belur couldn't hold in any longer. He staid a good distance and used his mind gift. "Fire Demon you are just pawn in my game far bigger then you. Your mother and I are the only ones that need to play."

Belur was ranting about something but Laura didn't have time to mind what this halfling had to say. Her eyes were transfixed on the demon, this would be a difficult fight. Without the demon using his fire Laura had a bit more of an advantage since she didn't usually use magic herself. Non-magical combat was her specialty but something told her that this demon was more than just a dim flame.
She watched intently as another demon handed Miroslav his weapon, a two handed blade much larger than Laura's own weapon. She would have to make sure not to come into contact with that blade at all costs. Her katana would not be good defense against such a weapon no matter how strong the steel was. The sheer force from a weapon of that size would disarm her easily. Laura would have to rely heavily on her speed in this battle to avoid Miroslav's strikes as well as to land her own.
Taking a few steps forward she allowed her blade to be held loosely at her side. It would be foolish to make the first move, she would have to trick the demon into making the first attack. She just kept walking as if she did not know about the battle about to take place until she was approximately five feet away from the demon, just out of reach of the blade. For a moment she just stared at the blade before her gaze traveled slowly up to the demon's eyes. "I believe you sword might be over compensating for something Mr. Miroslav."

Belur would never get Miroslav's head or heart. Or anything else that was his for that matter, and most certainly not while he was wearing it. However, he had to smile at Belur now. "No fire is dimming tonight," he replied Belur's comment.
"Like Marion would want to play with you?" He snorted. "She'd tear you apart for even suggesting something like that." He was getting angry with the vampire now, but he wouldn't turn on him yet, he had to focus on Laura, which he was.
"Maybe it is, maybe it isn't." He said as a reply to Misty. "Only one way to find out and that is by coming even closer," he was aware that the hunter might not want to come closer, but he was trying to trick her into making the first move now.
{God, what an awful post! Better than nothing, right? So sorry. I'll try to do better next time and actually reply a lot sooner }
